hi, I'm haymitch
I started making art in college, though I didn't call it art at the time
every project was simply a response to the question: what should I do with my life?
after eight years of projects, I enrolled in graduate school to study creativity
then my best friend brett died by suicide, and I found myself questioning life at a deeper level than ever before
in those depths I felt a familiar-but-new impulse to create, or rather, Something Else began to create with me, as me
to better understand this transformation, I began training under contemplative teachers
I had a vision of a creative sanctuary in the mountains, which I came to realize was a space I was meant to build
this space, and my mission, is to engender a world where everyone sees themselves as divine artists, collaborating in the unfolding of Creation
I hope you will join me and our little band of pilgrims on this path
